Here’s some news we didn’t expect to be sharing this soon: our game is now free on Itch.io.

The decision wasn’t made because the project lost value or because we’re stepping away from it—quite the opposite. Recent tensions between Itch.io and the activist group Collective Shout have created a complicated atmosphere for indie developers. Games like ours ended up being caught in the middle of that push and pull. Instead of waiting for clarity, we chose to act.

By removing the price, we’ve cut away any barrier that might prevent players from checking it out. It means that no matter what happens with platform policies or pressure campaigns, the game stays in players’ hands, where it belongs. Accessibility matters more than arguments we can’t control.

We don’t see this as giving up revenue—we see it as building resilience. If you’ve followed our work, you know we create strange, experimental worlds that aren’t always mainstream-friendly. Making this title free is our way of ensuring it remains visible and playable while the bigger debates swirl around.
